Suffolk Pride Pledge

Suffolk Pride encourages all local businesses and organisations to sign our allyship pledge to show your support for the LGBTQ+ community. Through signing this pledge, you promise to:

• Be a safe and welcoming place for LGBTQ+ customers and staff.
• Visibly support and promote equality for LGBTQ+ people
• Challenge homophobic, biphobic and transphobic behaviour
• Have clear reporting mechanisms for harassment and discrimination which are followed up and acted upon
• Ensure staff are trained to understand the experiences of LGBTQ+ people, including how intersecting identities such as race and disability can effect this
• Ensure staff are trained to be proactive allies
